The Interope Story

Back in 1989, more than 30 years ago, Interope Corporation was established as a Manila rope manufacturer, operating out of Cebu, Philippines.

Interope is in close proximity to major Manila hemp-producing regions, gaining access to good quality fibers.  As the one and only Manila rope factory in the central part of the Philippines (Visayas), our strategic location helps promote a strong fiber supply network, thereby guaranteeing long-term continuity of fiber deliveries.

Over the years, Interope, along with its affiliates, continuously expanded its facilities and capabilities.  In addition to 3-Strand and 4-Strand Manila ropes, Interope's product lines include Polypropylene (PP) and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) ropes in 3-Strand, 4-Strand, 9-Strand and 8-Strand construction.

Today, Interope has grown to become one of the world’s largest and most dependable suppliers of Manila rope products, and has a strong presence in both, domestic and international markets.  At present, Interope has customers in North America, Europe, Africa, Australia/New Zealand, and Asia.
